Previously, when Sarita joined Matt on Redemption Island, the two talked about her tribe’s dynamics and Matt started to consider a Zapatera alliance. Te following morning, both tribes received tree mail telling them they will all see the duel. Before the face-off started, Jeff announced that whoever wins will certainly reenter the game. Matt won the duel and he and everyone else are given new tribe buffs, officially declaring a merge. When the tribes arrived at their new beach, they were welcomed with a feast and Rob suggested that Murlonio will be the new tribe name. That night, Matt told Andrea that he considered a big move in order to eventually vote out Rob.
