JerSey Shore Season 4 TIdbits (SPoilers, Location)

Jersey Shore Season 4 will be filmed in Italy - but when will Jersey Shore 4 start to air new episodes on MTV? That's the million dollar question! While the network has confirmed it's taking its infamous cast overseas, it has only given vague details on when Jersey Shore Season 4 will premiere. Jersey Shore fans can be assured the Italian-adventures of Snooki and Co. will begin airing sometime in 2011, but an exact air date has not yet been set.

 
 

Jersey Shore Season 4 will begin production this Spring - reportedly in May. With the first three seasons of the hugely popular reality series, MTV has been on a six week production schedule.
Jersey Shore Season 1 was filmed in the summer of 2009 and premiered in December 2009.
Jersey Shore Season 2 was filmed in Miami betwen March and May 2010 and began airing three months later on MTV in August 2010.
Jersey Shore Season 3 was filmed between July and September 2010 and premiered 4 months later in January 2011.
In other words, historically between three and four months after production wraps Jersey Shore premieres. If production starts in Italy in May and wraps in July and if MTV follows a similar production schedule Jersey Shore Season 4 will likely premiere in October or November 2011.
It's unclear if Deena Nicole Cortese, who replaced Angelina Pivarnick during Jersey Shore Season 3, will return for another season.

A rep for MTV did not immediately respond to Examiner.com when asked about the Jersey Shore Season 4 negotiations.
